The new ones should be much in par with what people "expect" from a Volkswagen. My sister has a 2011 Auto, and yes, its plasticky, but I found nice touches like all four windows down, and the feel of the buttons, and the trunk opening automatically nice and different.

I love these too. a lot. after the juke, it's a toss up between a new GLI and a challenger as my next car down the road.

If I were getting one, i'd get the base model, and give the money saved to the good folks at APR

They're nearly impossible to find. And they're undercover because they're not a GTI/GLI. They look normal and were called the JSW SEL but carried the changes from the other two.

It depends on which version. A regular one, yes. But with the additional red accents of the 30th Anniversary Edition, a neutral color would make them pop more.

We do. We've got 13 currently spread out across Autobahn, 30th Edition, and 30th/Nav trim levels.

I'd get an Autobahn or 30th Edition for the addition of a sunroof and better wheels. Just skip the Nav and use that to pay for stage 1.
